What sets this glove apart from many standard hawk gloves is its enhanced leather layering. The glove features three layers of leather over the top two fingers and thumb, while the lower two fingers and palm are reinforced with two layers of leather rather than the usual single layer. This design provides increased protection against talons without restricting movement, ensuring you can still feel your bird securely and confidently on the glove.
As a falconer myself, I believe this is one of the most protective hawk gloves available, offering an excellent balance between safety and sensitivity.
